The Nikka Perfect Serve Asia Pacific 2025 brought together talented bartenders for a showcase of creativity, precision, and passion in the art of crafting the perfect serve with Nikka Whisky.

The competition not only highlights the skill of the participants but also their innovation, which defines the bartending community across the Asia Pacific. Representatives from the renowned bar across the Southeast Asia Regional Championship, which presented their unique interpretation of Nikka Whisky, blended craftsmanship with storytelling to captivate the judges and audience alike.

The judges for this championship include Jon Lee (Founder, Penrose and Lavantha, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia), Daniel Goh (Editor, Spirited Asia, Singapore), and Ade Putri Paramadita (Culinary Storyteller and Food Researcher, Indonesia). They put each competitor’s intuition, adaptability, and hospitality to the test – embodying Nikka’s vision of service as a dynamic, empathetic, and deeply human experience.

Indonesia made a strong mark in the competition, with remarkable performances from Giri of St. Regis Bali, Abi of Modernhaus Jakarta, Taketto of Notte Bar Bali, and Zai of After Tea By Chontea Bali, who showcased their creativity and expertise through distinctive Nikka Whisky serves.

For the first time since the competition’s Southeast Asia debut in 2023, the regional crown goes to Indonesia, marking a milestone moment for Indonesia's rapidly rising cocktail scene. Giri Asta of St. Regis Bali established himself as the winner of the Asia Pacific finals. He will proudly represent the region at the global finals in Hong Kong later this year, carrying the Asia-Pacific flag on the world stage.

The Nikka Perfect Serve continues to be more than a competition; it is a celebration of artistry, passion, and the timeless elegance of Nikka Whisky.
