On Saturday, October 7, 2023, craft beer enthusiasts witnessed the joy of "The Art of Beer Pairing" with Parallel 49 at Beer Belly, a favored locale for beer aficionados where you can hangout while exploring the wide variety of craft beers they have to offer. 

“The Art of Beer Pairing” with Parallel 49 was a delightful collaboration featuring Beer Belly as the venue partner, Beersulang as the beer workshop facilitator, and Hofladen as the food pairing partner. Beer enthusiasts gathered to explore the intricate nuances of beer pairing, experiencing the fusion of exquisite craft brews from Parallel 49 with carefully curated food.

This event, divided into two sessions, has been thoughtfully designed. It began with attendees engaging in online games to learn interesting beer facts and concluded with the perfect pairing of each beer with a variety of delicious dishes. 

Attendees were treated an exciting array of six variants which are Trash Panda Hazy India Pale Ale (ABV 5.0%); Jerkface 9000 Northwest Wheat Ale (ABV 5.0%); Ruby Tears Northwest Red Ale (ABV 6.0%); Filthy Dirty India Pale Ale (ABV 7.2%); Craft Lager (ABV 5.0%); and Craft Pale Ale (ABV 5.0%). These craft beers have each provided a diverse palette for attendees to experiment and enjoy.

At the heart of this enlightening experience were the raw beer ingredients—hops and malts—providing attendees with a sensory journey through the foundation of craft brewing. Hops brought their aromatic and bitter flavors, while malts contributed the rich and complex sweetness, creating a palette of tastes to be discovered and savored.
